I first knew Kermit when he worked at head of the Physical Plant at Coe College and I was teaching there. He was a talented and competent professional. I later came to know him when he attended the programs that I gave to the residents at Summit Pointe. I always enjoyed our interactions. He was a fine example of humanity at its best. My condolences to the members of his family and to all those who know, admired, and loved him.

I remember telling you (Sue) at Traci’s pool about our first house in Marion. It had the most beautiful ceilings and everyone commented on them. When we said, we didn’t know who did them people would say, “ it looks like the work of Kermit Postier!” He was VERY talented like no one else before or after! I also dealt with him a little when he came to Kirkwood. He was the nicest man. My sympathies to you all.

Kermit did all the drywall for our business for many years. He definitely had a gift. The ceilings in all of our houses had his artistic touch. Rest in peace. You were awesome and glad I had the pleasure of knowing you.
