Betty Jean Craig, 87, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday July 1, 2025, at home with loving family after a long illness.  Services: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday July 8, 2025, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories by pastor Robert Pate. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home on Monday from 4:00- 7:00 p.m. and after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel.

Survivors include her son, Danny Craig of Cedar Rapids, three daughters, Kim Craig, Sherry (Richard) Aker and Christine Craig all of Cedar Rapids. Grandchildren, Nicholas, Elizabeth and Nathan, 15 great grandkids, 3 sisters, Shirley Peacock, Geraldine Roth and Debbie Spahn, and many nieces and nephews. 

Betty was born on March 30, 1938, at home in Potosi, Wisconsin, the daughter of Raymond and Dorothy Koeller. She married Roger Craig on February 13, 1958. Betty loved gardening, cooking, and weekends swimming in the family pool. Betty grew up on the farm attending a one room School house, riding horses, playing with siblings and helping work the farm.  Betty worked at Compo Arts, Nissan Universal and retired from Aegon. 
 
She is preceded in death by her husband Roger, parents, Raymond and Dorothy, brother, Melvin and so many others near and dear to her heart.
