I am so sorry for your loss. The world has lost a very special young man with so much left to give. I know your pain must be great. I pray that God will help lessen your pain as you go through this very difficult journey. I bet Mason and Mark are up in Heaveb canoeing on a peaceful lake. I an sorry we were unable to attend the service. Katie and I were out of town and Nathan is traveling in Europe. I tired to send a card, but had the wrong address, that's why this is so late. God bless you and your family. You are in my prayers daily.

Very hard to put into words, but Mason stands as a giant in my memory. Mason cared. You don't meet a lot of people that genuinely want to hear your story or ask ‘why you think the way you do’, but Mason did. I feel like I could tell dozens of stories of getting to know Mason in Scouts, the lessons he taught me, talking philosophy, history, and popcorn sales. Or years later seeing him in Iowa City swapping stories about our latest adventures and what restaurants to check out. I looked up to Mason, and I feel very lucky to have known him. A good man. Rest in Peace.

As Mason’s college roommate for 2 years at the University of Iowa I can say that Mason was a a genuine person. Mason always knew how to make all of us laugh and he cared. You’ll be missed Mason.

Barbara and Family, I am saddened for this profound loss you must endure. Blessings, warm thoughts and prayers of comfort to all.

This is one of those times when words can't begin to express the loss we are all feeling. Mason was one of the brightest spots in my time with him as a leader and mentor. He was truly one of those generational guys that we so appreciate when we're blessed with the opportunity to work with them. He was a bright star in anything we asked of him.........and quick to help others. The mark he left on all our groups is one of the reasons for the continued success and opportunities successive members enjoy. May God bless you all and hold you in his hands.

Janice and Mark, We are so sorry to hear of Mason's passing. You are in our thoughts and prayers. With heartfelt sympathy, Bob, Denise and Lisa Warnock

Janice, Mark, and Micheal: I was so very sorry to learn of Mason's passing. I have such fond memories of our children playing together after school on the playground at Pierce elementary. You have my deepest sympathies and I hope your love for him and all of your wonderful memories will help you through this most difficult time.

Janice: My deepest sympathies and condolences to you and your family. You are in my thoughts with wishes of strength in this difficult time. Hopefully warm memories of Mason will console you. Joel Schmidt

Janice- Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this trying time. Cherish all the great memories you shared with Mason and keep them close to your heart.

Mason was a true role model and a great supporter of mine over the past few months while working alongside him at RSM. He would call me multiple times a week to walk me through new concepts and address problems we faced on projects, but not without first asking how I was doing, showing genuine care about my life outside of work, or chatting about Hawkeye football games. Also, learning just now that he was an active Eagle Scout only makes perfect sense to me. I am deeply saddened to hear about his passing, and my thoughts and prayers are with Mason's family and friends.

Mason was a truly special person whose warm smile could light up any room. Humble, kind, and always a joy to work with, he brought positivity and laughter to every interaction. It was an honor to know and work alongside Mason at RSM. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memories and the joy he shared will remain in our hearts forever. My heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. Will miss you, Mason.

I had the privilege of knowing Mason both in college as members of AKPsi at the University of Iowa and in the professional world, working on the same team as consultants at RSM. Mason was as kind as they come, and he truly cared about other people and about doing the right thing. It was hard to catch him without a smile or without him being genuinely curious about what you were up to and how you were doing. I’ll also remember Mason for his sense of humor and his excellent choice of Halloween costumes, namely the Baby Shark. Rest in peace, Mason. The good memories you gave each of us will last forever. Many thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

Mason was such a kind and caring soul. We went from University of Iowa BAIS class work, spending many late nights at Tippie collaborating on group projects and assignments, to the professional world of RSM collaborating on real world application of these skills. Outside the office and classroom, Mason was a true friend and colleague. He was easy to talk to and truly showed interest in the lives of those around him. My favorite memory was when I was back visiting Des Moines and we somehow got lost walking our way to an after work meetup with friends taking about a mile+ detour. We were laughing the whole way stating that our time orienteering in the scouts should have prevented our "shortcut" :) Many good memories of my friend and colleague Mason. He will be missed dearly and we are extending our thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

Janice, I am so sorry to hear about Mason's passing. Holding your entire family in my heart and prayers during this difficult time.

Mason exemplified all the traits of what a Scout is meant to be. He was kind, supportive, and encouraging to me throughout my time in Troop 766, and I'm grateful for the chance to have known him. I'm so sad to hear he passed away. Thoughts are with

My thoughts are with you and your family during this sad time. Mason was such a special young man.

I'm extremely saddened to hear about Mason's passing. I have only fond memories of the time we spent together in the boy scouts and the venture crew. Especially our time together in Peru. My condolences to the McCune family.

Mason, thank you for all of the memories and laughs from playing Mario kart for hours at our house, to driving all around Cedar Rapids to get everyone in the “crew” a shark suit. We are so sorry to hear of your passing and send our prayers and condolences to Mark, Janice, and Michael. Sharks assemble, buddy.  We will miss you.

We are shocked and saddened at the loss of Mason. Our deepest sympathies to you all. We are so very sorry to miss Mason’s visitation. Know we are sending you all the strength and prayers for comfort.
