Delores: I did not know that Frances grew up in Riceville. That explains the Osage connection. It was nice to hear about his statement that he had a good life.

I was lucky enough to meet Fran during his time at Hiawatha Care Center. He sat at the same table as my mom and I looked forward to visiting with him every night. I learned so much about his life in the service, Riceville and as a Barber. He had a great sense of humor and always had so much information to share about all the things he had done, I felt like I had known him for a long time. I missed saying goodbye to him, but feel so fortunate to have had him touch my life. He had a great love for his family. What a great gift in life to have. Blessings to all of you.
