Kenneth Wallace Breher, 76, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on November 13, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, commitment, and community service.

Kenneth, born on July 6, 1947, in St. Louis, Missouri, was a devoted husband to JoAnn Breher. The couple embarked on a journey of love, warmth, and companionship, celebrating their marriage on February 15, 1969. Together, they created a family that became the center of Kenneth's world.

Kenneth was a loving father to his children, Jeremy Breher (Tonia) and Kim Schultz (Mark). His grandchildren, Lucy and Brooks Breher, and Ryan Schultz, brought immeasurable joy and laughter into his life. Kenneth cherished the moments spent with his family, creating lasting memories that will be treasured for generations.

Kenneth was a man of strong values and an unwavering commitment to both his family and his community. He found great fulfillment in supporting and nurturing those around him. One of his passions was reading to school children, leaving an indelible mark on young minds with his kindness and love for learning.

In addition to his dedication to family and community, Kenneth had a keen interest in model building, with a particular emphasis on trains. His hobby not only reflected his meticulous attention to detail but also served as a creative outlet that brought him joy and relaxation.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, JoAnn Breher, his children, grandchildren, and siblings June Martin, Katherine Rose, Terri Vollmer, and Greg Breher. He is preceded in death by his parents John Breher Sr. and Theresa and siblings Johnny and Jim, who will undoubtedly be awaiting him with open arms in the afterlife. His memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him, and his legacy of love and service will continue to inspire.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Kenneth Breher will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories.  A livestream of the funeral service may be accessed on the funeral home website under the obituary for Kenneth Breher, under the video tab starting at 10:00 am, Monday, November 27, 2023.  Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Sunday, November 26, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories Stateroom.

Kenneth will be laid to rest at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery at 10:00am on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. The burial ceremony will be a solemn occasion to bid farewell and offer final tributes to a man who touched the lives of many with his kindness, warmth, and dedication. 

In this time of mourning, the family appreciates the support and condolences from friends and well-wishers. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the APG Foundation (www.apgfoundation.org), a cause close to Kenneth’s heart that helps local cancer patients cover their medical expenses.
