Thank you each and everyone for your kind words, support and love. I lost my wonderful mother and my very best friend. But we have many many great memories to rely on and know she is with her loved ones in heaven and in our hearts forever.

I want to thank everyone for their heart felt thoughts, memories and condolences. She was a special lady, a women of prayer and joy. She was always on alert for that stranger or friend who needed a special touch in their day.

Bert was an amazing Christian women who found blessings in even the tragic events in her life. She always had a smile and encouraging words. She was an inspiration and will be missed by all who knew her.

Such a Beautiful Service for Aunt Bert. Love you all dear Cousins. She was everything you said, Her face was a sunbeam, always smiling. Our last meal together was at Olive Garden , just she and I. She insisted on paying even though it was from gift cards you had given her. As we left and were on the road driving our separate ways she sped past me and I just had to laugh. Things to do , places to go... Great lady. Love Judy & Steve & family

My precious Aunt Bertha! What an amazing woman! Always a great encourager! I can still hear her laugh, and see her sweet smile! She carried a special grace of life and love- to everyone she would meet. I treasure all of the memories over the years. Especially the last time I was able to be in C.R. I had a determined desire to see my sweet aunts. Lenny and I along with my sisters all were able to meet at Aunt Dee's apt. I waited out in the hall for Aunt Bertha... and soon around the corner she came- walking briskly towards me, with arms open wide, and that awesome big smile on her face!!!! soon I was engulfed in her hug! What love! What life! She knew how to live it... and how to give it away! Now she strolls on streets made of gold! Full of joy , and life - embraced by Love in the arms of God! I send my condolences to all of the family...esp. Chris, John, Jeanette, and Steve.. and Aunt Dee. And, all other family and friends. Though I am unable to be there in person... I certainly am in heart! Much love, her niece, Jo

I just smile when i think of my Aunt Bertha! What a great lady she was to all she met. Her big big smile and her even bigger hugs were something to cherish and look forward to. She loved life and in all she did, reflected her love for her family and friends. I will miss how she just bounded down the hall to greet you when you came to see her. She taught me how to keep a song in my heart, no matter what life thru at you. I loved her like a mother. I will miss her more then words can express. my love and condolenses go out to her wonderful family. love, her niece, Jill Jencks
