Dale Busler was born on November 7, 1950, to Wilbur and Gertrude (Ford) Busler. He graduated from Vinton High School and went on to build a life centered on faith, family, and service. In 1995, he married the love of his life, Roberta "Bobbie" Scheer. Together they shared a loving marriage and created a home filled with laughter, support, and cherished memories.

A proud veteran, Dale served honorably in the United States Army as a paratrooper in the 173rd brigade during the Vietnam War. His commitment to serving others extended beyond his military service. For more than 15 years, he was a devoted member of Antioch Christian Church in Marion, where his faith guided his life and strengthened his relationships with those around him.

Dale will be remembered for his servant’s heart, steadfast faith, and deep love for his family. He found great joy in time spent with his children and grandchildren, who brought immeasurable happiness to his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Gertrude Busler; brothers Ed Busler, and Bill Busler.

Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 31 years, Bobbie; his son, Dustin (Cara) Busler; his daughter, Amanda (Brian) Tucker; and his treasured grandchildren, James, Jude, and Jayden Tucker, and Emory Busler. His brother, Bob Busler; and his sister, Twylah Busler. He will also be fondly remembered by extended family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by his kindness and generosity.

Dale's legacy of love, faith, and service will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made in Dale's honor to Antioch Christian Church.
