Delbert Louis Boldt, 86, of Oscoda, Michigan, formerly of Central City, Iowa, passed away May 27, 2026. Visitation will be from 12-2 PM, Monday, June 8, 2026, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will follow the visitation at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Memorial Lawn section.

Delbert was born on May 11, 1940, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Louis Henry and Alice Lily Mae (Beh) Boldt. He served his county in the United States Marine Corps from 1958-1961. He went on to graduate college with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architectural Engineering. He was united in marriage to Dixie Lee Caldwell in May of 1982. While living in Iowa, Delbert attended Valley View Baptist Church, now known as CrossLife Community Church. After moving to Michigan, he attended Oscoda Baptist Church in Oscoda, MI. Delbert worked as an architect / draftsman, finishing his career as a federal employee. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking, gardening, traveling, watching sports, and was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan. Most of all, Delbert enjoyed spending time with his family. 

Survivors include his children, Richard, Christopher, and Emily; stepchildren Teddie, Julie, Bob, and Gayle; twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and siblings, Donna, Karen, and Betty.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Dixie; and three granddaughters.
