My thoughts and prayers to you and your family during this time. I was blessed to have gotten to know your mother and care for her.

Jan and I played in the Cedar Rapids Symphony together for many years, then reconnected years later through Beethoven Club. She was a wonderful colleague and friend and I will miss seeing her. My sincere sympathies to her family.

Hi, Paul, If you remember that you helped take care of my husband's (Al Beach in a wheelchair) and then we learned that you are Jan's Mom. She and I played and performed many piano duets. I was always amazed at her willingness to share her knowledge, talents, and passion for music with students and peers alike! Her obit picture is beautiful!!! My sympathy to all of you. Diane Beach

I was so sorry to hear of Jan's passing. I loved the way she taught my children and she always made us feel special. Truly a great loss

I'm so sorry to hear of Jan's passing. I knew Jan through Iowa Music Teachers Association. She was so kind and welcoming when I joined the group in 2005. Jan was one of the teachers who helped me really figure out what I was doing within that organization. I always enjoyed talking with her at events and seeing her occasionally at Orchestra Iowa performances. Her dedication to music and her students is something to be admired. She will be missed.

I am so sorry to learn of Jan passing. I always enjoyed her passion for all things music. My thoughts are with her family

My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Jane, Jordan, Amanda & Josh. I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts & prayers. Love to you all! Michelle Larson Haugen
