Very sad to hear of Mim's passing. My mother Georgene and father Keith always enjoyed Mim and Hall and Kirk and I will remember them at those many Chamber Dinners downtown with the travel films. Condolences to Karen , Craig and Jeff. She lived a incredible life.

Karen so very sad to hear about Marion! She and of course your dad were great Okoboji neighbors! We will miss seeing her in the summer at the cottage! She was the best! You are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time!

To Marion's family. I join in the celebration of her life. She was a delightful person who had a positive impact on those she met. I got to knw her at Cottage Grove Place, and I was a friend of her husband. They were both a credit to the community. God's blessings to you all

To the family, my condolences and sympathy as you deal with the loss of your dear Mother. Seventy one years ago, she was my kindergarten teacher at Johnson School. What a blessing to have someone like your Mother be my first teacher! As life often happens, I saw her again many times when she moved to Cottage Grove. I was so excited to see her! My Father, Bert Katz, often talked to her, and also loved and respected her like I did. It's such a difficult time now. I hope that as time passes that your sadness will be replaced by good memories that I'm sure you have. God Bless you and all your family at this very difficult time. Toni Neta

Karen, Jeff, Craig. Sorry about your Mom. Seeing this triggered so many positive memories growing up around your family. I had the benefit of growing up in a time when we had to communicate in person, or on a land-line. Those in person memories last, unlike a text message does today. Your family gave me many of those positive memories. The one that really comes to mind with your Mom was during Craig's birthday party at the Towne House, swimming pool. Yep, you remember it too. One of our classmates cold not swim and went in. Your Mom, in full dress, went in after him, soaked clothes and all. There is some humor in the story, but in reality she saved his life. And I was there after the first snow after the driveway heaters got put in. Won't go into details there. But these are all good memories that your Mom has left in my memory. But most of all, she was a kind person.
I mention memories because it is something I hold dear. I lost my Mom in 2016, she had dementia. And just 2yrs ago around this time, lost my sister to dementia as well. So reflecting on memories with your family gives me some assurance my mind is still firing.
So as you reflect here. Just know that all of you had a positive impact on my life growing up. Your parents were some of the good ones.

Karen, Craig and Jeff,
I'm sorry for the loss of your beloved mother. When I think of my youth at St Michael's, I remember fondly the families who steadfastly served the church, your parents among them.
Karen, I'm glad I got to say hello to your mom last Christmas Eve at church. I pray that the ache of losing your mom is eased by the comfort that she is now in the presence of her living Lord.
