So very sorry to hear Donna has passed. Thank you John and Sandy for letting me know. It was a joy to see you both today, but heartbreaking to hear of your Mom. She was always such a kind soul. The memories I have of her have stayed with me over the years and will continue to be recalled so often, as usual. Rest well Donna. Godspeed to you.

My apologies for calling Donna, Connie. I remember Carla at Xmas when she was visiting you and I came over I told Donna you look like a Connie to me and she laughed and apparently today it still is a true statement. ❤️

Growing up on Falcon Drive was often like one large extended family neighborhood. Donna, Mrs. Cooper, and my mom were pretty good friends, the Cooper kids and 3 of the Schmidt kids were either in the same grades or close, and my 4th youngest sister was handicapped, we needed daily therapy support from volunteers, one of the most faithful was Mrs. Cooper, but beyond that the Cooper home was regularly the place where us kids went to when my parents were otherwise occupied. Mrs Cooper fed us, we did homework alongside the Cooper kids, she kept us in line and watched out for us, now 6 kids coming and going instead of her 3. Her support was appreciated then, but you don’t really get it entirely as a kid…you do after you become an adult, a parent, and have tried to contribute something in return. Thank you, Mrs. Cooper, for helping my family, being my mom’s friend and being a part of the “neighborhood growing up”. Thank you Candis, Carla and John, as well as your dad, for sharing your mom a bit and being friends with my family and me. I’m sorry for your collective loss.
