In prayer and sympathy: He was truly a delight and never too busy to say hello! Sheila from Alter Scrap/E. Cohn & Sons

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Scott for any years. He was a huge help to my family and me towards the end of my career. The world is a better place that he was here. He will be missed . Gerard Wagner

deepest sympathies for your loss

I was fortunate to have worked with Scott for several years prior to his retirement. I fondly remember Scott’s great sense of humor and his ease of telling as story or sharing a joke. A lot of hours were spent in Scott’s office solving the company’s and world’s problems and Scott was always willing to give of his time to those he knew. I became friends with Scott through work, which led to a friendship with Donna too. Those two were truly a match made from heaven. They had a love and an undisputable bond with each other, which made them a very special couple. I always admired their love and commitment to one another, which was always rooted in their faith. I know I am a better person for having known Scott and he will be missed. Through our faith, I know I will see him again. May you rest dear friend; a good and faithful servant of our Lord.

I am Scott’s youngest sister, to be the only boy of 6 would seem like a lot! But Scott grew up being a kind and funny person. He had an upbeat attitude and a strong Love of The Lord. He and Donna did so much for me and later my husband Craig. We had a lot of Great times, Scott could always make you laugh! Memories are abundant and I wish I had a movie projector to show all the times, he taught me, helped me through all our years. Even from Minnesota, big fans we all were/are. He gave me a book on Roger Staubach and I became a Dallas Cowboy fan. We had so much fun watching football together, he’d even wear Cowboy shirts and let me put Dallas stickers on his head🥰😂 He and Donna had their first born on August 3, 1985 That was my birthday in 1966. I was elated!! From there his family grew and my husband and I were glad to be a part❤️ Two more wonderful children, we got to terrorize & Love. Their kindness, sharing, giving and letting us be a part of it all was a HIGHLIGHT in our life! We spent a lot of Thanksgiving’s at their house watching Dallas play & sometimes but not often celebrate.🎉 LOL Scott was a Huge part in our lives. Donna, Sabrina, Seth and Kelsey too!! Then they added Russel, Jesse (Cooper & Cole) and Kelty and lots of animals too👍 I Loved my brother dearly and he’ll always be in my Heart. We All Miss him greatly, the smile and smart A— remarks. We are Happy he’s in his heavenly home, no longer to suffer, sitting by Our mother, father, 2 sisters and so many more Angels! The Lord Picked the Best and brought him home.. Love You Always & Forever❤️❤️

I grew up in Decatur in Scott's neighborhood. We would play basketball in his driveway on summer nights. What a great guy he was. I am so sorry for your loss Rest in Peace Scott.

Scott and I were school mates in Decatur Illinois. We played junior high football together and bantered Bears and Vikes! I think of Scott daily as I have lived in the old neighborhood for decades, driving by his childhood home multiple times a day. I’m saddened to hear of Scott’s passing and send thoughts and prayers to his family. Sincere condolences, Phillip Anello
