Bridget was a Beautiful, caring soul. She had many gifts but mostly could have an immediate connection to whom ever she met. She could talk, relate, understand, and help anyone. We would walk in a bar of strangers and she would leave knowing almost everyone's name! She had a big heart, and a great sense of humor and her laugh would make you smile. I feel like I have known her forever, but met her in 2011. Her husband then was my Mike's friend. She has been there through some pretty tough times in my life without fail. I tried to do the same for her. She always knew what to say, and how to turn "Shit Happens" into what are we going to do about it! We had many adventures-never boring! I Loved her and will miss her dearly!♡
Hers will be the voice I hear in my head when Life is more than challenging.
I hope her spirit guide was there to take her hand and help her through her next journey. I know she was looking forward to seeing her mom and dad and Brother, and dear friends. I am just glad she has found her peace, and is free from pain and uncertainty. She had a strong vibrant spirit, and I know she is not far.
Our deepest condolences to her friends and family.♡
I pray your Memories of her help you to find peace in her passing. Rest In Peace My Dear Friend. ♡
Life will not be the w/o you.😪

I loved Bridget very much. I live in Mississippi near my daughter, Jenny Ross. Bridget and I talked frequently by phone. I followed she and her girls by Facebook. I lived in Cedar Rapids for 24 years and during that time, I was married to Bridget's uncle, Jody. We divorced after 24 years. Bridget and the girls would come over and play and have sleepovers with Jenny, and many Holiday celebrations. I stayed in touch with Bridget through her illness by phone. We spoke very frequently. I am mourning Bridget very much. I will never forget my cherished niece. She always had a smile on her face and we would laugh together so often. It is a comfort to me knowing that Bridget is now reunited with her mother, Lorna, her father, Craig, and her brother, Shane in Heaven. I will love and miss you all and never forget the Shoemaker and Garretson families.
Rest in Peace Bridget
I will love and miss you always,
