JJohn was the kind of soldier everbody wanted to be. He not only became a top non-commissioned officer, but trained and guided others to follow his path. His spirit of getting the job done,a lot of times with humor along the way, made people want to follow SGT John!! At times we thought Pat needed a medal for keeping him straight!!!! Rest in peace SGT John, we will miss you!!!! Major General Robert Sentman

I worked with john way back in the j tec days. And remember coming over to thier house to clean the vcr heads. I know, way back then. Always a nice guy to work with in our old building at 317 7th Ave. Had character like John.

Dear Mrs. Gourley and family, I was sorry to learn of your loss with the passing of your husband and father. I have wonderful childhood memories of the Gourley household in the 60s and 70s during my time in Cub Scouts where Mrs. Gourley did a wonderful job of being our Cub Scout Den Mother! My sincerest condolences!

Our condolences and sympathies to the Gourley family and friends. Celebrate a life that includes a tremendous marriage and fruit in abundance from that tree.
God Bless!
