Paula Lee Baker 70, of Cedar Rapids passed away May 14, 2023. Visitation: 4-7 PM, Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel. Memorial Service: 11:00 AM, Friday, May 19, 2023, at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel. Inurnment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Paula was born on August 30, 1952, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Lorraine Jean and Robert Dale Fowler. She graduated from Cedar Rapids Jefferson High School in 1970. Paula was united in marriage to Jack Leo Baker on December 5, 1970, in Cedar Rapids. She worked as a price coordinator and retired from Hy-Vee in 2019. She loved her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed family trips, going out to eat, and gambling. Most of all she loved to laugh and have fun.
Survivors include her daughters Brooke (Rob) Gager of Marion and Page (Chad) Harford of Cedar Rapids, grandchildren Ryan Baker-Gager, Meghan (Chris) Labs, and Chase Leeper, step grandchildren Kyle Harford and Daryn Harford, and great grandchildren Drake, Cooper, Gavin, and Beau, sisters Kathy (Ray) Pena of Cedar Rapids and Jordy Chmelick of Cedar Rapids, and aunt Renee Stramel of Marion. Paula is also survived by her nieces, nephew, and their families.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Jack in 2012, parents-in-law Mille and Jack Baker, brother-in-law Mike Stieger, sister-in-law Candace Neal, and nephew Casey Stieger,
