I am so very sorry for your loss. My deepest sympathies for You and your extended family. Alan Jensen

My deepest condolences for you and your family.

I was saddened to hear about this tragedy. I was one of Alex's teachers during his sophomore and senior years at Washington High School. By his own admission, he was not the hardest-working student, but he was a good kid, a sweet guy. We happened to run into each other last summer in downtown Iowa City. Alex noticed me first, stopped me on the street, and we talked for ten minutes. He told me that he was doing well, that he was happy, and thanked me for my efforts. Still a sweet guy. I'm holding him and his family in the light.

THE BROKEN CHAIN Little did we know …… that God would call your name. In life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone. For part of us went with you..... the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories; your love is still our guide; and although we cannot see you, you are always at our side. The family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. Alexander Glover; we love you and we miss you very much…..

Sondra and Benson, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Alex's energy at soccer. He always tried so hard to be better and his glasses were always falling off. Good memories. Again, I'm so sorry.
