As backyard neighbors for many years, we Ryders fondly remember the Smejkals. Barb spent hours in the yard tending to all her flowers and plants. It was such a contrast to our plain grass lawn. Sorry for your loss.

I was so sad to hear of the passing of your beloved wife, mother and grandmother. We spent many great years camping with each other in Florida. I was so happy to have been able to talk with her a week before her hospital admittance, and we had such a good conversation, catching up on all the family and friends. She will be missed. Lisa, Karl, Leo and family-
I was so sad to hear of Barb’s passing. I remember meeting your family when my when visiting my grandma on Northwood Drive. She was a kind person, funny and a great neighbor.
Years later Lisa and family become our neighbors, and we see the Smejkals again.
