Memorial
Mary Jean Fisher of Cedar Rapids, Iowa died on December 30th, 2022 at the age of 96. A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023, 10:00-11:00am, at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. A memorial service will immediately follow at 11:00am.
She was preceded in death by her husband Parke Fisher, and her parents Harry and Ruby Erickson all of Cedar Rapids.
Mary Jane grew up on Springville Iowa. She met and married Parke Fisher in 1949. They had a beautiful 55 years together. Mary Jean worked for Mutual Of Omaha for 22 years. After retirement they enjoyed traveling to many places. They bought a condo in Rio Verde, Arizona, and enjoyed spending winters there for a few years.
Mary Jean loved being with family and friends, or talking on the phone with them. She enjoyed eating out with the girls. She enjoyed watching game shows on TV. She belonged to the Springfield Presbyterian Church.
