Jeffrey (Jeff) S. Walder, Age, 71, of Cedar Rapids, IA passed away at ProMedica/Manor Care Nursing Home in Cedar Rapids, IA on Saturday, April 9, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.
A visitation will be held at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 from 4 to 6 PM.
Jeff was born on September 1, 1950 in Cedar Rapids, IA. He is the son of Geraldine Walder and the late Ronald Walder. In his younger years, Jeff was a nationally ranked gymnast. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing, cross country skiing, and woodworking. He was a carpenter by trade, and owned his own contracting business, in Milwaukee, WI.
Those left to cherish Jeff’s memory are his mother, Geraldine of Cedar Rapids, IA; his siblings, Vicki (Rich) Lyle of Cedar Rapids, IA, Paul (Tracy) Walder of Toddville, IA, Laura (Thomas) Walder Anderer of Port St. Lucie, FL and Sandie (Denny) Ketelsen, of Toddville, IA.
