Chick was always one of my favorite patients. I looked forward to one of his jokes or silly stories every time he came in. He was a wonderful man. Full of fun. I will miss him! (TLB Dental)

I worked with Chick at IE in the early '70's. As a very young lady, he always gave me great advice with a genuine smile. I'm grateful to learn he lived a long, fruitful life.

Made you laugh or at least smile when you were around him at work. He made CPR/First aid interesting. Condolences to the Atkinson family.

I have some very fond memories of my Uncle Chick. Specially as we traveled and camped across country in 1963. I sure had fun that summer. I still brag to friends about him.

I met your dad in the 1970’s when I worked at the Cedar Rapids Police Department and he would stop in daily to pick up notices of street lights that needed repair. He always had a smile on his face and I always looked forward to visiting with him. I still think of him when I drive up Center Point Road where he lived and see the old street light in the front yard that I remember he got many years ago when the lights were updated on Country Club Parkway. Your dad was a kind man. I am very sorry for your loss.

Chick was the youngest of my cousins. He was raised on a farm and liked to call me "The City Kid." I was a junior in high school when he came home from the war and we shared a bedroom in my parents' home in Cedar Rapids until he married Marjorie.
