Dear Deb, Darcy, and family,
Doris was so faithful in attending the Klassics Bible study. As a family you were committed to helping her attend. In earlier years my mother and I would somehow always end up sitting behind your family in church. Now my mother wants to stay home and watch the service online. From reading the obituary your mother was a mom dedicated to her children and her Lord. I am fortunate to have the same kind of mom. It is difficult to let these precious ones leave us but we are so blessed by their lives of dedication to God. “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.” Psalm 116:15. God carefully chooses the time when we enter this world and when we leave it. I can almost imagine her joy at seeing her Savior. In Revelation 4 John was able to enter into heaven to see a throne surrounded by a rainbow resembling an emerald. Stephen in Acts looked into heaven to see Jesus standing at the right hand of God waiting for him. I pray that you as a family will have a special time of remembering your growing up years and how God has given you a special mom.
Sincerely,
Jolynn
PS we celebrating my mother’s 103 birthday tomorrow 7/5 and will have relatives here so I will not be able to attend the funeral.

Your mom was such a beautiful example of God's love. We were not only blessed to have known her, but also to have made such wonderful connections with Darcy & Dave and Deb & John within our Stonebridge Church Family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all as you rejoice in knowing that she is safe in the arms of Jesus.

What a beautiful tribute to a beautiful human, both inside and out. I will miss her sweetness and gratefulness. I enjoyed our time together in the salon. She was SO proud of all of you and would tell me all about you with a smile on her face. May she rest in peace, she absolutely deserves it !!

I am so sorry to see this obituary. I remember the Lincolnway girls coming to the Waid home and being a part of the Blue Birds. Good memories and a great family. Doris was always so sweet and gentle. I send my condolences to you all.
