I am shocked and saddened to learn of Dr. Feller's passing. He was a kind and enthusiastic professor. He touched my life as a student at Coe by shepherding me through my Nature of Science course as a Freshman. I was an English major and a very anxious student so I was very much out of my element in Peterson Hall but his encouragement and support made all the difference.

I did not know Dr Feller well, but I was very familiar with him when I worked at the Writing Center at Coe College in the ealy 1990s. We were in Peterson Hall, and included a coffee center where Dr. Feller was a regular patron. I remember him as a kind man and I send my sincere condolences to his family.
