Liddie and Eric,
Your Dad was a great man. I loved him very much and we spent many great years together having great times. It is very hard to hear this news, even after all the years that have passed. He will forever be in my heart and I wish you and your family the best.

Diana, Eric and Liddie. Caught Bill’s passing a little late but wanted to let you all know the enjoyment he brought to my Amana days! He conducted the course of our young Amana lives like no other and smiles keep coming across mv face thinking of all the endless things we experienced. If one could write a story about it no telling how many episodes it would be. Rest in peace Bill! As Grabinski would say “ Good Luck and Good Selling”. Bill would be smiling hearing that!

Bill was one of the good ones…a good friend, a good family man, a good neighbor…just an all around really good guy. We will miss him.

Bill was such a special man. I met him on the Legends (Fort Myers) practice range in 2022 when I was a brand new golfer. We shared a like for practicing…a lot. He must have tired watching me struggle to learn chipping. One day he came up to me & said: “I can tell you really give a damn…would you like for me to try to help you?” That began a cherished friendship. Yes, he helped me with a sand wedge but what meant so much was that he cared & believed in me! About six weeks later I finally got my nerve up to go out on the actual course. I put myself & my husband in with a twosome. Come to find out one of the men was Bill. I hadn’t even know his last name, but I had the good fortune to play my first ever round of golf with my mentor! Over the past three years he became my biggest cheerleader, always encouraging me in my game. We’d often text back & forth about rounds, challenges, the PGA & Caitlin Clark. In recent weeks it was life, death, no regrets & savoring moments. I will miss those texts but am so grateful for our friendship. Diana & family…my heart hurts for your loss. Jim & I send our most sincere sympathies. I am very blessed to have crossed paths with Bill Heinemann…who, no doubts is golfing pain free in heaven.

Dear Heinemann family: I was sorry to read of Bill's death. I had the pleasure of spending many hours on the golf course with Bill, Bob Platner and Scott McLeod. The round would take hours as we watched each others shots and counted strokes like hawks. I can still remember the look on his face when he borrowed my new driver at #1 at Hunter's Ridge to check it out and he hit a line drive into a house on the right side. He handed it back and said "I think I'll stick with my driver....' I'm still smiling while I type this. Please accept my deepest condolences. Bill Stone

I'm so sorry for your loss, Diana, Liddie, Eric, and the rest of the family.
Bill was a very special guy.
We worked together for 18 years at Amana. I was also in Sales and Marketing, so we spent a lot of time together. His office was next to mine for several years. I especially liked traveling to dealer meetings with Bill. He "covered" for me... schmoozing with customers and making them feel important. They loved Amana, because they loved Bill. He entertained them late nights --- and I showed up the next morning (after a full night's sleep) boring them with all the features, advantages and benefits of our compressors, magnetron tubes, etc. Zzzzzz.....
One of my favorite memories of Bill and the guys I worked with (this was in the 70's, where I was often the only female on the team) was when I was pregnant with my first child. Bill & the guys decided to throw a baby shower for me. Crazy! The presents were a total hoot! The most memorable was a stack of Parent's magazine for my husband to read while I was in labor. Inside each Parent's cover was an issue of Playboy!
The world will be a little less fun without Bill in it. Thank you for sharing him with us.
I know how much you will all miss him.
Take care.
