I work at St. Luke’s in the hospital lab, which is how I met Ryan. He was always so sweet and always gave me a smile when we saw each other. He always brightened my night up whenever I saw him. Ryan was truly a sweet and fun person and soul and I feel SO BLESSED to have met him. My heart is with him and his family while they navigate this heavy and heartbreaking situation. Love, Ivy Curtis (the redheaded lab girl ❤️)

I’m am saddened to hear of your dear son’s passing. Jeff, as I got to know of Ryan through you, he could not have had a more devoted dad. He was blessed to have you advocating for him and simply LOVING him. And the blessings to you were reciprocated. Know that Ryan is resting perfectly in Jesus. I’m praying for peace for your whole family.

Ryan shone so much light and love into the world, he will be truly missed by so many. My heart is with you all as you grieve.

Our hearts are saddened by Ryan’s passing but are comforted knowing he is in heaven with our Lord. Our deepest condolences on your loss! Our prayers are with you. Love from both of us.

Kirsten and Jeff, I am so sorry for your loss. You have been wonderful parents and I have been inspired watching you care for and love on Ryan. May God surround you both with the peace that surpasses all human understanding for today and for years to come.

I am so sorry for your loss. Ryan brought so much joy to this world. He was the reason I started doing buddies and special olympics. He was always so lovely to be around. His laugh was so contagious! Sending prayers for you.

Kristen and Jeff, I am so sorry for your loss. He fought a good fight and he is now free and running with his angels. My prayers are with you through this time of Ryan’s death and for the days, and years to come as you grieve his loss. God be with you both. Amen

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. You were incredible parents and loved Ryan with all your hearts. Your devotion to him was unwavering, and it was clear how deeply he was cherished every day of his life. His legacy is profound. Cling to the promise of eternal life. Ryan is whole and healed enjoying fellowship with Jesus. We grieve, with Hope.

My heart hurts so much for all of you. Our son Adam Bergen was in Ryan’s first Kundergarten class. The kids ADORED him and they all took such pride in playing with him and helping take care of him during school. Ryan was just so special and everyone was so drawn to him. He was blessed with the most wonderful parents and it was such a joy to see you with him. I know you’ll miss him terribly, and my heart goes out to you both, as well as to the rest of Ryan’s family, friends, caregivers and teachers. This was one incredible guy, and there are many, many people whose lives are better because of Ryan. Sending you loving prayers for comfort and peace. 🤍 🕊️
