Rob was born in Freeport, Illinois on October 7, 1963, the son of Richard “Butch” And Carolyn (Wentworth) Trude.

Rob graduated Clinton High school and was a veteran serving part-time and full-time in the Army National Guard in Clinton, Iowa.

Early in life, Rob was an avid bowler and loved traveling around to tournaments in Clinton, Maquoketa, and to Nationals. He loved live music and loved going to concerts where he would sometimes coordinate the “party bus”.

Rob was the general manager of Pedaler’s Fork in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where he considered all who worked there as family. On the rare occasions that he wasn’t working, he spent quality time with his grandchildren.

Rob is survived by his daughter Brianna (Josh) Belville of Davenport (Lily, Leiland, Sloane); son Ryan Taylor of Marion (Kaylee, Zachary); daughter Jen Taylor of Marion (Chloe, Caden, Alijah, Aariah, Amarii); son Austin (Jess) Taylor of Folletts (Carter, Ella); daughter Trisha Taylor of Clinton (Caleb, Shaelynn). His siblings Jeanette (Mike Liphardt) of Clinton; Gene “Opie” Taylor of Clinton; Arnie (Rachel) Trude of Middleburg, FL, with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, including his best friend, Ryan Evans.

Your thoughtful contributions, to support with final expenses, are sincerely appreciated and can be made directly to his children.
