My family and I had a privilege to meet him at our Uncle Spark’s funeral and hear the stories about them meeting in the Navy. My sincerest condolences to the family. He was a great and funny man.

Dean was always kind and friendly. I saw what a loving Great Grandpa he was to Casey and Joy's sons. We sometimes traded off watching the boys when Casey and Joy were working. He was there at family celebrations as well as difficult times. He will be missed,
