My condolences to Brian's family. I knew him as a work-study employee at Mount Mercy. He was such a fun and friendly person. He will be missed by many.

Rest in peace you were a very good perso and your one hell ofa lawyer you are going to be missed greatly

Condolences to all of Brian's family. I'm an '89 law classmate of Brian's, visited with him in CR over the years. 1st time I spent time with him, 1st year, at the Bell IM Center, he challenged me to a game of HORSE, but we could only shoot 3's. He won, he had "Caitlin" range before Caitlin. Miss ya' Sis

My sincere condolences to Darlene and the entire family. Brian was always a pleasure to be around, always had a smile and time for a chat.

I’m truly sadden that Siss has passed, as a college teammate and friend he was only known to me as Sis’s, he will be missed by all whom known him ❤️! Prayers to the family, forever known as a great guy…EP

What an absolute shock! I am so very, very sad to hear this news. I’ll be praying for you all. Jane

I admired Brian as a public defender. Respectful and smart, he worked to do the best for his clients. It had to be a tough job, knowing that he'd not win most cases. But our judicial system works as well as it does because of attorneys like Brian who dedicated their careers to serving as a public defender.

My deepest condolence to Brian's family. Brian was such a fun and smart guy that I really enjoyed knowing. He always had a smile and a laugh to share, such a joy to know. He will be missed by all.

Great guy. Always enjoyed visiting with him at the golf course. Gone too soon. RIP

I am so incredibly sad to hear that Brian has passed. He was such a bright light. I remember the first day I met him in Jamaica. He was so fun, friendly and inviting. That is saying a lot coming from a Canadian! I will miss his big smile, his big hugs and the great chats we had from time to time. You were a fabulous soul Brian and I will miss you❤️. I am sending so much love to Brittany and Mrs. Sissel as well as Brian’s family.

My thoughts and prayers are with all the family...loved him as a neighbor and a friend for many years.
