Colleen- I will remember all the years when Plenny was preparing for his next hike out west. I would often stop on my bike for a quick conversation or just get a friendly wave in passing. He lived a blessed life and left a fine legacy. I wish you strength during your time of grief. God Bless your family! Most Sincerely, Clay Parks

So sorry for your loss. Colleen, you were the absolute best for your care of Plenny.

I am so sorry that Plenny has left us. My condolences to his family, for his death is surely a great loss, as for all of us who knew him. He brought into my life a unique combination of knowledge, intelligence, humor and humanity that won’t be found elsewhere. He personified the life of a truly human being.

I was very saddened to hear of Plenny’s passing. Plenny was a great neighbor and friend for over 40 years. Watching out for us and helping whenever he could. He always cleared snow from our driveway for before he left for work. I remember walking across the street, rapping on the kitchen window and hearing a cherry “Come in!” He knew it was me. May memories of him help you through this difficult time.

So sorry for your loss. My father always spoke very highly of Dr. Bates.

I must be one of dozens who are hesitant to write anything here publicly. Mr Knight summed it up well, but I want Plenny's family to know there are many of us who knew and loved Plenny. I met him a little over 15 years ago around RC planes. I think my sister knew one of his daughters in high school. Plenny was generous and knowledgeable. But most of all, he was a gentleman, smart and funny. Some of my best memories are of getting to talk with Plenny out on the sod farms as the sun was setting. He will be greatly missed by many.

My sincerest condolences to Plenny's family. My folks held Plenny and Colleen in high regard, and always spoke very fondly of them. Sending you thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Plenny was my friend. We had many interesting discussions. I always appreciated his commitment to things he loved to do. He had an insightful mind. To Coleen and family I join in celebrating his life. Mary Jane and I feel our lives have been better knowing him. He had a long and prductive life. William C. Jacobson

My deepest sympathy to Plenny's family. He and my Dad were airplane buddies for decades, and shared many good times together. Dad always spoke very highly of Plenny. Thinking of you during this difficult time. Sincerely, Kaye McIlrath
