I am so sad to learn of Jeanette's passing. She was a terrific colleague -- always helpful, friendly, and brilliantly witty. And such a fan of great music. My condolences to her family.

I was sad to hear of Jeanettes passing. Please accept my condolences. She was a good person and I was grateful to of known her. And loved her. She seemed to always know where her towel was. Peace to you all.

I was so sorry to hear of Jeanette's passing. I shared an office with her and she was a lot of fun. I will never forget her come to work in the morning and telling me about the song that was on her mind that day. Music was an important part of her life and I hope that she is enjoying some good tunes in heaven!

Although many years have passed since our time together in the Registrar's Office at Cornell College, and our time as members of the CBA, I will always cherish the memories of Jeanette's wit and friendship. God bless her. Linda Givvin

My sympathy to Jeanette’s family. Even though I never met Jeanette, I knew her mom Pat, who was a good friend of my mom’s. They worked together at Chesterton State Bank for years.

I will miss mushroom hunting, baking pies, playing spite and malice, walking and listening to “just one more song” at Nature Park with Jeanette. She took me into her home no questions asked when I needed help and I will always be grateful. Plus she had a wicked sense of humor and was just a hell of a lot of fun! I will miss her so much…

I'm sorry for your loss. We had so much fun growing up. Jeanette knew what she wanted and went for it. I admired her for that. We use to get a kick out of her putting her ankles over her shoulders and walking around on her hips. Memories of Jeanette will stay with me forever. Will miss you. Love You

I'm saddened to learn of Jeanette's passing. She generously opened her home to me following the 2008 flood. She was supportive and helped me get back on my feet. I'll never forget her kindness. We had many good meals and laughs together. I could count on her to always have an unvarnished take on current affairs and politics. She will be missed. Cindy Hein
