Donna Kind, 75, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Monday, May 15, 2023, at St Luke’s Hospital. A Celebration of Life will take place Friday, May 19, 2023, 4-6 pm, at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home.
Survivors include her daughter, Ronda Neese, of Cedar Rapids, and a son, Richard Neese, of Huntsville, Alabama. Grandchildren: Richard Neese, of Cullman, Alabama, Brittney Morales, of Huntsville, Alabama, Violet Lucas, of Cedar Rapids, Richard Neese, of Cedar Rapids, and Jody Cooke, of Tucson, Arizona, along with eight great grandchildren. Her sister, Cathy Weaver, and a brother, Daryl Lint. Her mother, Betty Lou Lint.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Dick Lint and Raymond LeClair, and sister, Sandy Davis.
Donna Sue (Lint) Kind was born June 01, 1947 to Robert and Emily Lint in Shellsburg, Iowa. She was a loving mother , very generous and caring not only to her immediate family, but to all family. Donna had many jobs during her lifetime, but taking care of her family was the most important. Living in Texas with husband, Ferguson Kind, provided her with joy and fulfillment of her life. She was a light that burned bright for all who knew her. .
