Dear Suzanne, Tommy and Billy, how great to see Minor’s smiling countenance one last time. So sorry that he is gone now, but I am warmed in the knowledge that he was blessed with such a long and rich life. I have many fond memories of being with him and all of you, even holidays. He was always a pleasant person and always laughing and smiling. He was a man of great taste, especially in music. He introduced me to Mark Murphy, and I became a lifelong fan and met him twice. I also still have a Mel Torme record he gave me 40 years ago. I’m thinking of you and sending love in your time of sadness.

Janice and I were crestfallen to hear that Minor died. We are in Florida but Suzanne, Tom and Bill please know that we are with you in spirit and our thoughts. In simple terms, I'm just gonna miss the guy, particularly that wry smile that told you he knew exactly what was going on, and he knew more than you did. Though our paths did not cross often of late, I would always make it a point to cross the room to say hello to Minor because I knew my day would be brighter if I did. And it never failed to do so. Warm regards, Scott and Janice Byers

The Minor Guy as we referred to him was one of a kind. We cherish the wonderful times we spent on Kiawah together. He and Jerry were complete opposites but it didn't seem to matter. We loved being together and sharing special occasions together. Our friendship has endured for 26 years and I cherish those memories. Our hearts are with you Suzanne. Love and celebrate you being in my life then and now, Love always Rita Yaeger and Michael

The Barnes Family: Please accept my condolences on your loss. It is never easy losing someone you love. Hold on to those memories, continue to hear his voice and don’t ever stop talking to him. He is with you always. I hope that comfort and peace come to you. I know that he will truly be missed. Prayers for your hearts to heal. You are in my prayers and thoughts. May God bless all of you. Jim Voss

Suzanne and family, We are so sorry to learn that Minor has passed away. The obituary was a wonderful tribute to his life and we learned many things we didn’t know. Marty enjoyed serving on the Board at the Club with Minor. And, we both enjoyed our visit with the two of you in Kiawah. We know Roger and Bill had many years of friendship growing up together. You were both so kind to Roger. We hope your family, friends, faith and good memories will sustain you at this time. We send our deepest sympathy. Juli and Marty, Naples, Florida

Suzanne- My sincerest condolences to you on the loss of your love. His obituary was with wonderful! Thinking of you. Gina Kaufman - your former instructor at The MAC.
