Lucky is the neighbor that grew up next door to Dennis and Nancy. Whenever my sister Amy and I forgot our house key when we got home from school we knew we could count on Dennis and Nancy to be home -they would always welcome us in and we would sit at their kitchen table, talk about our school day, probably have a snack and play cards. From time to time, Dennis would stop over and bring our family a plate of fresh baked chocolate chip oatmeal cookies, just because. And we would spend endless summer evenings talking about life and sipping on iced tea in their driveway. I have such fond memories of Dennis. A good neighbor and trusted friend to our family. You will be missed, rest in Peace.

Denny and Nancy were friends many years ago when we all attended Olivet. Lots of good times of laughter and singing in the choir. We even went to a Billy Graham Crusade together in Minneapolis in the early 70's. He was a sweet and gentle friend to everyone. Our love to his and Nancy's family. Jim and Linda Smith

I went to Lincoln School with Dennis, he lived across the street from the school. I just talked to several former classmates about Dennis. Dave Kohl, Bill Maroney, Francis Henderson and there are more. All agree he was a great friend for us back in the day. We all grew apart but I'm sure Dennis was always a good guy. Our sincere condolences to all the Family.

Rest in Peace Uncle Denny now that he is finally with Aunt Nancy, family, and friends. Uncle Denny will always be remembered as a fantastic Uncle to all of our family. Someday we will all be together for another great family gathering and a fun game of Tripoley.

Denny never failed to yell hi to me when he saw me at my mom's. This last few years I have spent a great deal of time at mom's, caring for her. He never let a pkg sit on our porch, he'd ring the door bell and hand it to me. We talked frequently and I know he was still grieving Nancy's passing and he was lonely. In those conversations we've talked about God and I am sure he is in heaven with Nancy. I keep looking and his house expecting to see his smiling face. I look forward to seeing him again in heaven.

Uncle Denny was a wonderful person and a much-loved uncle. He was kind, affable and easy going. I have fond memories of the times we spent in his company. He and Nancy always seemed to be a special couple who were close friends and good companions for each other. I will always think of Denny with affection.

Uncle Denny was such an important part of our family along with aunt Nancy, so many good times all together, Rest In Peace and say hi to Aunt Nancy. We love you.

My family have known Dennis for over 40 years. So sorry to hear of his passing. He was such a good neighbor & friend. If we needed anything, he was always there for us. We have some good memories with him & Nancy going for breakfast at Ellis Park, playing cards & birthday parties. We are going to miss him. May he rest in peace now as he joins Nancy.

Dennis, or Denny as we came to know him was a long time neighbor of mine. He was such a fixture on our block that it's going to be hard imagining him being right across the street. I'm going to miss not seeing him around, and being able to call out to him across the street whenever we were both outside. Rest in peace, Denny, we will miss you!

Dennis was a long-time neighbor of Liz and I, and our kids. He was always very friendly, and helpful in letting us know if anything was amiss with our property. We will miss him! Steve Skalsky
