Barbara Jean Matthes, 85, of Cedar Rapids, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, September 22, 2022. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service, 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Troy Mills.
Barb is survived by her children, Betty (George) Wright, Tina (Jeremy) Holtz, Gary (Lorie) Matthes, Kelly (Bryan) Matthes and Jerry Lee Perry; nine grandkids and nine great grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Lee Matthes; parents, Ulick and Winona Mae Perry and son, John Alan Perry.
