Luke and family,
We were sorry to hear of Linda’s death and remember you all fondly from our ME days. We enjoyed weekends, sledding and one pot chicken soup meals with you all. We pray for you now and for sweet memories to sustain you in the days ahead. May the LORD bless you and keep you...

I was so sorry to hear of Linda's passing but know she is at peace now. I have known Linda since grade school and always stopped to see her when I was in Cedar Rapids. She was a good friend and a lasting one. She loved our Regis class reunions and never missed, no matter how bad she might have felt. She was one of those people that made one better for knowing her. Linda was a valued client and great dog sitter for our beagle dandy. She treated him like he was her own dog. Linda was a very unique person and we will deeply miss her.

Dearest Linda, you were a wonderful friend to my sister, Regina, and a wonderfully witty lady. I enjoyed the times I shared with you and Regina and will always remember you with a smile on my face. Thank you for being you, Linda! Rest in Peace! Praying for the peace of heart and mind of your family in this time of great loss.

There were many facets to Linda: her wit of course, animal and music over, athlete. What I admired most was her lifelong journey to discover her truth, questioning her history and beliefs. She challenged herself to learn and grow and helped me to do the same. I admired her self-confidence and independence of thought. We shared many discussions on spirituality. We respected and valued each other's differences.

Luke, Brian and Erin - I was a classmate of Linda’s at Regis HS. Our daughter, Melissa, was also a teammate of Erin’s on the Iowa State Cheer Squad.
We were very saddened to hear of Linda’s passing. Linda was a very warm, outgoing person, who I considered a friend. She will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

Linda was a classmate at Regis High and I didn't see her much except when I came back for reunions. But she was such a special member of our class and I know many of us are saddened at her passing. She was such a joy and brought us much laughter and light. My condolences to her family.

Luke, Brian, and Erin, We were very sorry to hear of Linda's passing. We had not seen Linda for a couple years but have many memories of years ago when we had so much fun at canoe outings, socials, etc. etc. Her quick wit kept us on our toes. Linda took care of our three daughters when Ken and I teamed for a weekend retreat. She probably had the tougher job and we so appreciated her generosity. Our condolences in your loss. Ken and Margie

We moved in our house, right next door to Linda, in September of 2008. She was a wonderful neighbor. Always friendly and loved chatting, especially to our daughter and our two dogs. They sure loved their nearly daily pets at the fence over the years. She always had fun stories and we loved hearing about her trip to Africa. We send all our love to Luke and their children and families.

Linda and I have been friends for over 30 years. Meeting her when she worked at St. Luke's Hospital, we didn't see each other often after she left for other employment. But she was one of those kind of people that the time didn't mean anything because we just picked up where we left off. I loved her sense of humor and we made each other laugh hysterically. For many years, she would stay in our home to care for our cats while we went on vacation. She loved sitting on our patio and enjoying the shady paradise while watching the fur kids frolic in the yard. I will miss her being part of my life, although it had been limited. She was a very dear friend who I could always count on.
