Steve, Betsy, Maggie, Emily, Nick, and Matt: My heart aches for you all. Sandy was a special mom, and even though we had our first babies about the same time, she was the go-to person for me on 'mothering' questions. She was also a great cousin-playmate "back in the day" at the big Grandma (Bessie) Plotz birthday parties...... best ever partner for running underneath the dining room table!! For some reason we never got into trouble on that count, maybe because our Dads had done far more in their youth! ?? Your loss is enormous. The world lost a wonderful person when Sandy left us. Great sadness in losing her, but great joy in what she did in her life. She showed us the right way to do things and how to leave an impression on everyone. I think there was a reason she was born on Christmas day.
