I had the privilege of singing tenor with Dean when the Harmony Hawks flew highest in the late 50's and 60's. Sing on dear friend.

Dean was my first supervisor at Link-Belt/FMC. He was a good mentor to me and fun to be around. He was well respected by those who worked with and for him. We enjoyed some good times. It was always fun to hear him sing. You could really tell how much he enjoyed life when he was singing. My condolences to all of the family.

Dean, a tenor, was soloist at our 1961 wedding. I sang lead at the time. Ding our groomsman sang bass, and Dick our usher sang baritone. Our quartet sang during our bridal dinner. Our sincere sympathies for your loss.

Our sincere prayers & sympathies to all the family. We spent many wonderful times with Dean & Mary. Trips including barbershop contests & vacations. Those are memories we will never forget. Mary was close like a sister & I know Dean missed her a lot. They can now be together again. Dave sure enjoyed singing in quartets with Dean & has been extremely saddened by his passing. This information is hard for him to process, but we will see him through. Just sorry we cannot be there in person to pass on our condolences. Know that we are carrying you in our hearts always. Miss you Dean!!

Dean was always a very special person to me over the 50 years I knew him. He had one of the warmest hearts I've ever known. He and Mary were very special people and are enjoying heaven together, I'm sure. My prayers are with Dean's family. God bless all of you.

I used to work for Dean at Link Belt/FMC back in the 1970's. He was a great man and a good boss. His quartet sang at my wedding reception in 1976.

I enjoyed singing with Dean in the Harmony Hawks and at the Memory Care facility on F Avenue when a group of us came for a Christmas Program. Dean still remembered all the Christmas carols and his part. He was a fine man and seemed to have joy in his heart.
