I have known Polly's Zachar family forever...her lovely mother that she often referred to on Facebook......and she was one year ahead of our first born at Regis who was in 1984.......loved seeing her at the bank and our chats.....I simply cannot believe this!! I think of how she is with her mother now....how she missed her.........

My heart goes out to all of Polly’s family. She meant the world to me. From watching the Zachar family as their house was being built on Cottage Grove through all of their childhoods. I’m sorry I don’t know the right words to say. The family just meant a lot to me and my Dad. I’m so sorry to all of you for your loss and I’m glad I got to know all of you. We did reconnect after many years on Facebook. I had always planned on visiting her when I came back to Cedar Rapids, but health issues prevented that. But we did have some good conversations. She would be greatly missed.
