Memorial
On May 1st, 2025 Pamela Jo Lnenicka-Losch Gaines passed away peacefully surrounded by the ones she laughed with, lived for, and loved dearly. “Grama” Pam was a wonderful mom, grandma, and a faithful friend. She will be greatly missed, loved, and never forgotten. Her big heart and willingness to help anyone, at any time, were two of her greatest attributes.
Grama Pam loved gardening, playing softball, photography, and was extremely artistic. She also loved spending time with her friends and family. Pam always loved animals and had pet dogs and cats throughout her life. Her quick wit and warped sense of humor will truly be missed by all.
Pam was born on July 30, 1950 to Dwaine and Jaunita (Young) Lnenicka. Pam was in the first graduating class of John F. Kennedy High School in 1968. She married Joseph G. Losch in 1968 and they had two sons, Jamie and Matthew Losch. They later divorced. She married James F. Gaines in 1996 and remained married until his passing in 2001.
Survivors include her sons, Jamie (Crystal) and Matthew (Tressa) Losch both of Cedar Rapids, IA. Sister, Kathleen Lnenicka of Weeki Wachee, FL. Grandchildren, Jake (Emma) Losch, AJ (Constance) Losch, Paige Losch, Noah Losch, Kyra Losch, Ben Walton, Rachael Camp, Cassandra Gaines, and Scott Gaines. Great granddaughter, Kallie Losch.
The family would like to give a huge THANK-YOU to Hospice of Mercy (especially Carmen) for helping Grama Pam out over the last several months of her life. A big thanks as well to her longtime friend and neighbor, Pam Brown for all the help and support she provided.
There will be a private graveside service at Cedar Memorial on May 13th and we will be having a Celebration of Life get together for all to join us, sometime in the next month or so.
