Our Faith tells us we should be celebrating that Butch is no longer suffering and that he has reunited with his parents in Heaven. That can be easier said than done. Butch was a one of a kind fellow and how lucky he was to share his life with Claudette. He will be missed but certainly not forgotten. All my love to the family. I'm so sorry I can't make it up for the funeral. There are just too many miles (and weather) between Texas and Iowa. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Big hugs to Claudette and the "boys"

I went to school with Butch and use to be in awe of his photography he took so many school photos! We shared many classes, and I liked his sense of humor. He was a great guy, and I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. To his brother Mike and sister, I hope you have been well. I also was a neighbor!

So sorry to hear that Butch had passed. I’ve loved seeing your many adventures over the years via your Facebook posts. I hope you find comfort in the happy memories. Claudette, you and Butch enjoyed a life well lived, and you made a difference in so many lives!! Our condolences 😢❤️

I was one of the younger kids in the neighborhood we grew up in. Fond memories of the picnics with horse shoes & Jarts but specifically recall Butch as raising Guinea Pigs, delivering newspapers & his photography. Everything he did, like his father, was done in a Big way 😉. Condolences to the family & may he RIP.

These last couple of days I have been thinking a ton about the memories from over the years and how they range from something as simple as Uncle Butch would be like let's go get some Burger King to one New Years Eve, spending the night at your house and we got to stay up until midnight (not sure if it was midnight but we thought it was). To racing Uncle Butch down at Thunderhead and him beating Curt and I. Teaching us songs like Johhny B Goode amongst others. Fishing down in Missouri and fireworks. I realized how lucky I have been to have you guys as my aunt and uncle.

My condolences to the Walker family on the loss of husband, dad, and grandfather. Claudette sending you hugs during this difficult time.

"Butch" was a kind and loving soul, easy to smile and share a laugh, he loved his family very much and they loved him in the same way. You are missed already my friend.
