Thomas Patterson Jr., 76, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Thursday December 11, 2025. Private family services will be held on Monday December 22, 2025, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Beth; children, Brad (Dawn) Patterson, and Kourtney (Tony) Burke; grandchildren, Jacob, Josh, Leah, Jack and Lainey; step-grandchildren, Beth (Chad), Matt (Jordan); and four step-great-grandchildren; siblings, Mike (Phyllis) Patterson. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Barb Taylor.
Thomas was born in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Thomas and Maxine Patterson, Sr. He married Beth Hensch on November 7, 1987, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Thomas served in the United States Navy from 1968 until 1972.
