Sarah Sue Jones, 46 of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022, at Mercy Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at the Cedar Memorial Chapel Stateroom. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, October 7, 2022, at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Burial to follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Sarah will be laid to rest next to her grandma, Clara Pulda.
Sarah was born January 29, 1976, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa the daughter of Jan and Stephanee Kramer. She graduated from Metro High School and attended Kirkwood Community College. Sarah was formerly the head secretary for Iowa Workforce Development. She was united in marriage to Jesse Jones on July 7, 2020, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Sarah enjoyed gardening, playing the piano, reading scriptures, and her pets. Sarah was a homemaker who took great pride in devoting herself to her family and home. Most importantly, she loved spending time with family and friends. Sarah was a devoted and wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Jesse Jones; two children, Cortnee Hall (Fiancé Andrew Griffith), and Riley Hall; her parents, Jan and Stephanee Kramer; siblings, Jeff Kramer, Kristena (Todd) Dunn, Joe (Lesli) Kramer, Dan (Stephanie McMahon) Kramer, Pete Kramer, and Valerie Monroe; in-laws; Bob (Shelly) Jones, Michelle (Clint) Houge, and Phaedra Jones McNamara; and many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank and Bernice Kramer, and Billy and Clara Pulda.
