I was shocked and saddened to find that John had passed away. I had the pleasure of working with him for many years at Rockwell Collins, both of us in the same department. His humor, directness and "deep thinking" were always appreciated by me and others. Nancy and I extend heartfelt condolences to Shawna, his children and extended family and friends.

Shawnna, as well as the entire family. I was very saddened to hear of the loss of John; what a genuinely nice man! Meeting him through work, he was always there and ready to lend a hand, tell you a story or two... and sharing a laugh.

So very sorry, shocked, to hear of John's passing. The times spent with him on Canadian fishing trips, and his exploits in creating humor will be long remembered; his antics have been/will continue to be retold, he was a fun guy to have around. Sincere condolences to all of the family.
