There are so many memories of Aunt Virginia! My prayers and condolences to you all. I loved her laugh and her preschool stories. One of my best memories was of Uncle Gene, Aunt Virginia, Uncle Dean, Aunt Marilyn, Dad and Mom sitting in the living room laughing until they cried about all the different things that happened when they were growing up. My heart and prayers are with you today and always.

I just want to express my deepest sympathy to all of the family. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.
I don't know if any of you remember Devran DePauw from Iowa National Mutual Insurance Company-----she was Gene Pugh's secretary. (I am her sister and also worked at Iowa National along with our sister, Beth).
I was lucky enough to have met Virginia several times. Your parents were so nice. Devran always spoke so highly of your parents.
Just wanted you to know I have been thinking of you during this difficult time.

I lived next door to the Pugh's growing up. I often forgot my house key, and had to go to their house to borrow the extra key. She had it on a keychain that was a white footprint. Before she gave me the key, she always had me come in for a snack. They were the nicest neighbors.

Dear Dana and Family,
We don't get the Gazette normally but our neighbor shared this past Sunday's with us. How sad we were to see Virginia had passed. I know she had a full life and loving family and friends. She was a dear neighbor and friend. We always enjoyed spending time with her and your dad. May she rest in peace with Gene, Lisa and Ron too.

I want to express my deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to all of Virginia's family on her passing. She was a wonderful and caring person and a dear, dear friend and part of my life for the last 70 years. We enjoyed much camaraderie and support as members of our Folgers Club and sewing club. Over many years, we shared countless hours together in volunteer service activities at St. Paul's Methodist Church, e.g., making soup for the Holiday Fair and planning, preparing and serving meals for wedding receptions and funerals. She introduced me to PEO Chapter JT and we continued our friendship and service in another organization. I was so pleased to be included in the celebration of her 90th birthday and to be able to celebrate one more milestone with her. I will miss her but I am so grateful to have known her.

I am sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. It was heart warming to read of her very full life and be reminded of how many lives she touched, including mine. My first memory of her was as my preschool teacher!
