We were very sorry to hear of Darrel’s passing. Both my husband, Phil, and I worked with him at Collins. He was one of the best engineers to work with and he could solve the toughest problems. He was one of the good guys.

Vicki and Family. Julie and I, as well as everyone else here at Hayseed send our condolences. There were many things I had hoped to do with Darrel and I'm so sad. Life is so short. You and Darrel have been great neighbors and if there's anything we can do to help you know we're standing by right here. Darrel CUL 73 SK . .

Condolences, Peterson Family, during this time of grave sorrow. May your fond memories sustain you in the days ahead. A high school classmate, Beverly Nedved

really enjoyed working and knowing Darrel

I had the pleasure to work with Darrel at Collins in the display group. He was always willing to help solve problems and took the time to explain the operation of his designs. My condolences to his family. It was an honor to know and work with Darrel.

Darrel's many accomplishments are certainly examples of service to others. May God's peace, your faith, and in time, precious memories bring you comfort. (Former Pocahontas classmate)

Darrel was always very interesting to talk to...always had a smile and in a good mood . He helped me to get my feet wet in Amateur radio and was instrumental in helping me get my technician license which was the first step..I hope that i can continue. To help pass the torch of amateur radio and friendship ...it was because of Darrels kindness and help that I decided to follow his lead and become a V.E ( volunteer examiner) myself and continue in his footsteps ..What a great guy...I want to thank his family for sharing him with us..What an honor to know him.

To all of the family of Darrel I hope your memories can help you through this difficult time. The times that I spoke with Darrel were always a pleasure and I always learned something when I spoke with him. Thank You all for sharing him with the rest of us.

I was blessed to know Darrel and his family at Zion, he will be missed by all that knew him. Darrel and I worked at Collins and were good friends. I extend my sincere sympathy and prayers to his family, he is with Jesus and at peace. Jim Biederman
