Just found out my best friend ever passed away recently in Cedar Rapids, IA. Good friends since my farm days when we would go to the the All-Iowa-Fair where she had entered clothes she sewed for 4-H. Dolores, a dear best friend all thru High School at Marion. We'd go to dances on Wed. nights at the Armar Ball Room where it was ok for girls to dance together and wait for boys to ask us to dance. Lots of fun times! We would go to CR to watch baseball games-The CR Cubs were a farm team of the Chicago Cubs at that time. My sincere sympathies and thoughts to her family-thinking of her daily.

Dolores was a wonderful person who always thought of others first. She would give my mother a bunch of her wonderful vegetables every year. This was just one example. My deepest condolences to the Leach family.
