What a beautiful photo of cousin Linda Nassif! I was taken aback when her sister Jeanne Amosson shared the news of her passing. I feel really lucky to have met her in 2018 at last in Cedar Rapids. August 27, 2020

My entire family was so sadden to hear about Linda's passing. In case you don't recall, we are Mike & Rita Nahas Coury's children - Mickey, Michael, Donna, Rosie & Cathy. We videochat every week with Margaret Nahas. We all wore red & spent our time reminiscing about all the fun visits with Linda & her entire family. Lots of wonderful memories we'll keep close in our hearts. God chose Linda to be one of the strongest to meet all of us at the gateway into Heaven. Linda, until we meet again. Hugs!!! Love to all her family, Cathy Coury Fedro

We wish you smiles and always the happiest of memories of your accomplished sister Linda. As her passing now means she is out of pain and in the comfort of God, may you know our sympathy to you and your family. Linda was a true example of the Nassif spirit with a trained palate, an educated mind and a desire to be friendly to all. We always enjoyed the tales she could share of her travels and family. You gave her such fun experiences with dinner parties and helped her pass the days when she was not able to travel. She contributed so much to this world with her talents and skills. We were glad to have known her as a friend.

May I offer my heartfelt condolences to Linda's family. I liked Linda a lot for her positive outlook in life and her service to the community in so many capacities. I knew her from AAUW. She will surely be missed. RIP, dear Linda.

The obituary was perfect! thank you for sharing the story of Linda's irrepressible spirit and love of life. There aren't many like her, but if there were, the world would be a better place. Linda Nassif, was past AAUW Branch President and an elegant hostess. She was a "political activist" and community "mover and shaker", but her greatest love was cooking and when we had meetings at her home we enjoyed her gourmet dinners. We were blessed to have her as our friend and leader.

Linda's middle name was very appropriate. She enjoyed life and gifted all of us with joy, love and caring. She is greatly missed already. My condolences to her siblings, nieces and nephews whose love and generosity were so important to Linda in her last difficult year. May she rest in well deserved peace.

Since I didn’t know Linda really well, I enjoyed reading the beautifully written obituary describing Linda’s remarkable life. She touched so many lives and I remember with gratitude the times I spent in her company. Linda embraced life, the things she enjoyed, and people with great enthusiasm and joy. I offer my sympathy to her loving family.

My condolences to the Nassif family. I got to know Linda as my Mother-in-law was in the room next to Linda. After my mother-in-law passed away I continued to go and visit Linda weekly. I will truly miss her but her smile and laugh will live on in my memory of her. I'm grateful I got to see her through the window and talk with her one last time just a few days before she passed. I know I will see her one day again and we can resume our visits. May she rest in peace!

I want to offer my families and my condolences to Linda’s family, both to her brothers and sisters and all her friends and other family members. I just loved Linda, she was full of life and excitement no matter what she was doing. I had the pleasure of being in her class in 1980 when she was at Washington high school I think as a substitute for a teacher that was on maternity leave. I can’t really remember. It was a long time ago but I think that’s how it was. I didn’t really know who she was at that time but she knew all about me and I thought that was exciting and I never forgot her since. I remember we were reading the book The Outsiders that year. Much later in life I had the the joy of going to a couple of her different homes and painting a bedroom or two and she was so funny and we had a great time. She introduced me to a couple of her friends and I painted their rooms. She was like my manager that summer. When I worked at Hy vee she would come in there a lot and visit with me too. I will always have fond thoughts of her and think of her often are infectious smile her great laugh and your beautiful soul. May her memory be eternal and God bless Linda

To all the Nassif family, My father Edward Nusrala was uncle to Linda and brother to her dear mother, Maheba. We visited with the cousins and aunts frequently in Omaha. I do remember the generosity and love of the entire Nassif Family. The Lebanese cuisine was always enjoyed. Mary Anne and I send our love to Doug, Joe, Bobbie, Mary, Jeanne, Shirley and Chris, and are thinking of you at this time.
