Krista Marie Eilers passed away Wednesday, the 28th of October, 2026, at Monticello Nursing and Rehab Center from complications of dementia.
Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Eric; a sister, Deborah Ketelesen of Ankeny; brother-in-law, Ken Smith of Anamosa; sisters-in-law, Tracy Heiken of Monticello, Carrie Newhard of Center Junction and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard (Hank) and Margret (Peggy)Ketelsen; a sister, Randi Smith and brother, King Ketelsen. Krista Marie Ketelsen was born March 7, 1957. She graduated from Anamosa High School in 1975
She worked at various jobs through the years including Emersen Motors and then Orbis until health issues forced her into disability in 2010. Krista will be missed by all who knew her, especially her quick wit and kindness to all.
