Denny always made working at Life Investors a fun time. We are grateful he could be at the LI reunion last year.

Saddened to learn about Denny's passing. He was a great man - always quick to say hello and flash his smile. Keeping the entire Haefner clan in my prayers.

Denny was truly a wonderful enjoyable man to be around. We all sat at so many baseball games together. Thoughts and prayers to Judy and family. RIP Denny.

Dear Judy, We are so saddened to read of Denny’s passing. Our most sincere condolences are extended to you and your family. I was fortunate to work with and for Denny at Life Investors/Aegon in the MidAmerica Marketing Region. He had a perpetual smile and always a positive attitude that was contagious. After leaving LI it was always a pleasure to run into him on occasion and be greeted with that same smile and an upbeat greeting. It was an honor to know both you and Denny.

The Haefners were our neighbors during the seven years we lived in Cedar Rapids. I will always remember his "larger than life" presence and laugh. He was a gentle giant...we are diminished.

Memory Eternal

Jan and family. I am deeply sorry for the loss of your dad. I have such fond memories of him coaching our girls basketball team in middle school. He was an incredible mentor to so many. Wishing you peace and comfort during this difficult time.

Judy and family. My path crossed Denny's mant times over the ears as we both were in the similar career. He was also a true professional with great integrity and moral values. He always took care of people and put them first over himself. He was a great human being and it was an honor to know him and work with him. God Bless you and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Tom Petsche.

Rest in peace, friend. We have so many great memories of you and we will always hold you in our hearts.
