Corrine Sentelik, 97, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on October 15, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, October 20, 2025, at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Entombment will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Corrine was born on February 14, 1928, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Oscar and Loretta (Lanzeretta) Viverito. She was united in marriage to Joseph Sentelik on June 11, 1955, in Chicago. Joe’s naval career took them to various points around the world—including Morocco, Maryland, and Chicago—before settling in Cedar Rapids, where they raised three loving children.

In addition to being a devoted mother, Corrine volunteered for numerous organizations and was a proud member of the Fleet Reserve Association for 55 years.

Corrine remained close throughout her life with her family in Chicago and was devoted to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe in 2009; her brother, Fred, and his wife, Edi; her sister, Johanna, and her husband, Joe; and her brother-in-law, Mike.

She is survived by her children, Bob Sentelik (Debra), Jeanne Collins (John), and Lori Werning (Mark); her grandchildren, Courteney Tamisitis (Pat), Sarah Shackleford, Christian Collins (Andrea), Breanna Ties (Matt), Mindy Werning (Travis), and Justin Werning (Alicia): 10 great-grandchildren; her sister, Joan; and her brother Babe.
