So many fond memories from years gone by. Sending sympathy and love to you all.

Jon was the kindest and funniest guy around! Giant smile and always up for making people laugh. What a great person to have walked the Earth. Rest in peace, John.

Fondly remembering John. Though i didnt know him well, I knew him thru his nephew Kevin Tapken. They shared a great relationship & being around John you couldn't help but enjoy his outgoing, playful personality. John's nickname for Kevin was "Heavenly". Now they both are heavenly & reunited. All my warmest thoughts to all who feel void John has left.

I'm so sorry to hear this. My sympathy goes out to Lana, Tracy, Erin and family! ❤️ I have thought of you Tracy and your Father often over the past years. It was such a privilege to have worked with you both at Tapken Insurance! John never met a stranger. He made you feel like he new you for years. As far as kindness; he was a great example to follow! He will be missed. 💕

I met John May 12, 2012 the day I moved in next door to him and Lana. John was a great neighbor and a great guy, and yes he will be sorely missed.

Lana, Tracy and Erin, please except our sympathies. John will be missed, so kind and considerate. And that smile, always. Whether it was the 12' basketball hoop (that was not tall for him) to the most recent time i stopped over at John and Lana's, the memories will live on.

We will miss you so much Great Uncle John. Thank you for all your insurance advice!! Shelley and Jason
